‘Happy New Year’ cast to visit Twitter headquarters

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and his “Happy New Year” co-stars will visit the Twitter headquarters in San Francisco to talk about the forthcoming heist drama.

Scheduled for a Diwali release, Farah Khan’s directorial venture also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Sonu Sood and Vivaan Shah, who are currently in the US for Slam!The tour.
The film’s cast will participate a live Twitter question and answer round, said a statement. This will be the first time that a Bollywood movie star cast will visit the Twitter Headquarters to interact with their fans.
Said to be made on a budget of Rs.150 crore, the film is produced by Red Chillies Entertainments and the film’s team took innovative steps to promote the film on micro-blogging site.
The first look of the movie was unveiled on Twitter and fans also received personalised trailers of the movie with an autographed message embedded in the video by tweeting to their favorite cast member with #HNYTrailer.

‘Bang Bang’ to hit over 4,500 screens Thursday

The much-anticipated action drama of the year “Bang Bang”, which stars Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, will hit over 4,500 screens across 50 countries Thursday.

Produced by Fox Star Studios, the action-entertainer has been helemd by Siddharth Anand.
“On Oct 2 ‘Bang Bang’ will see the widest release ever for a Bollywood film across the world. Over 4,500 screens across 50 countries, with record breaking no of screens in the US, UK and the Middle East,” said Vijay Singh, CEO of Fox Star Studios, in a statement.
The film has already created a buzz among the audience with its adrenaline pumping teaser and sizzling chemistry between the lead actors.

Are Hrithik, Katrina going the extra mile to promote 'Bang Bang'?

If sources are to be believed, Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif were present at a film exhibitors' and distributors meet, that was recently held at a suburban hotel.

Mayank Shroff, national manager, film programming, Cinepolis, confirmed the news. He said, "Yes, I was present. They showed us some portions of their upcoming film, 'Bang Bang', and it looks great. Hrithik and Katrina were also present at this meet."

Usually, a film's actors are not present at such exhibitors' and distributors' meets; the norm is that producers attend these events to introduce their films. "But turns that a few days ago, Hrithik and Katrina were present at this meet," says a source.

The source adds that Hrithik is apparently not willing to go on many city tours either to promote 'Bang Bang' - even though Katrina is apparently ready for the same - since he is very confident about their film. "Hrithik is confident about the product and he is concentrating on the film's marketing as well. So he doesn't want to go for too many city tours," says the source.

While Hrithik was unavailable for comment, a source close to Katrina confirmed that she was present at the exhibitors' and distributors' meet.
